Job Description

Semester Recruitment is seeking a Team Coordinator for Kirklees Hiring / Yorkshire Collaboration, based at Doctor Lane, Mirfield (WF14 8DP). This is a temporary role running from 20 July to 5 October 2026, paying £15.31 per hour, working across a rota covering 07:00 to 21:45.

The Team Coordinator provides operational leadership throughout the day, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care delivery. A strong focus of the role is medication support and administration — overseeing safe practices in line with policy, completing audits, addressing discrepancies, and supporting staff competency.

Key responsibilities include completing, reviewing, and monitoring care plans and risk assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. As first-line manager, the postholder provides day-to-day supervision, workload allocation, rota management within the shift, incident response, and staff mentoring, while promoting a positive working environment.

The Team Coordinator also acts as a key communication point between the team and wider professionals, ensuring effective coordination of care.
