Job Description
Southern Housing is seeking a Team Assistant to support its Direct Services Supply Chain team based at The Tramsheds, Croydon (CR0 4TQ). This is a fully office-based, temporary role paying £14.83–£19.22 per hour, starting 27 July 2026.
The post sits within a repairs and maintenance supply chain function, supporting the procurement and coordination of contractor works for tenanted properties. Key responsibilities include placing orders directly with contractors for repairs and maintenance, liaising with internal teams and residents, handling invoice and price discrepancies, tracking and amending orders, chasing overdue jobs and missed appointments, and providing broader administrative support to scheduling teams and contract managers.
Candidates must have a background in housing, maintenance, or local government, and demonstrable experience working in an office environment. Apply now to be considered.
