Job Description
Broxtowe Borough Council is seeking a Tenant Data Collection Officer to join its Housing Division on a temporary basis, based at Council Offices, Nottingham NG9 1AB. Paying £19.95–£26.00 per hour via Prism, with a start date of 3 August 2026.
Reporting to the Housing Performance Manager, you will identify and address gaps in tenant data held across Housing systems. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate tenant records covering personal information and tenancy details, producing data reports, gathering information through surveys, interviews and document reviews, and visiting tenants at home in line with risk assessment and lone-working practices. You will design surveys using Microsoft Office and web-based tools, liaise with colleagues to encourage completion, and provide excellent customer service by signposting tenants to relevant resources.
The role requires a sound understanding of GDPR and data protection principles, including obtaining valid consent, applying data minimisation, and ensuring confidentiality. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with tenants, stakeholders and internal teams to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
This is a designated car-user post, so a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be needed.
