Power Apps Developer – Adult Social Care Rostering – #OR111821

Job Description

Thurrock Council’s internal care provider, Caring For Thurrock, is seeking an experienced Power Apps Developer on an interim basis to lead the technical development of an Adult Social Care (ASC) rostering system using Microsoft Power Platform.

This is a fully remote engagement paying £157.25–£206.79 per day via Prism, starting 24 August 2026.

You will work exclusively on this project under the guidance of the Business Team and the Council’s IT department, completing, improving, automating, and upgrading an in-progress rostering system to meet all outstanding requirements, improve scheduling efficiency, and deliver financial and operational benefits for Adult Social Care.

Key responsibilities include developing Power Apps solutions, ensuring the Power Platform adheres to Information and Cyber Security requirements, resolving short-term faults and requests, and planning and delivering longer-term tasks through a Continuous Service Improvement mechanism — all within agreed SLAs.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing Power Apps solutions, strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a solid understanding of data governance, security within Microsoft 365, and GDPR.
