Job Description

Cheshire East Council is seeking a Community Occupational Therapist to cover the east of the Cheshire East area, including Macclesfield, Wilmslow, Disley, High Legh, and Knutsford. Based at Macclesfield Town Hall (SK10 1EA), this is a full-time locum role paying £35.00 per hour, starting 6 July 2026.

The successful candidate will carry out regular community visits and attend the office for meetings. The caseload covers both children and adults, requiring experience in Moving and Handling, Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG), and Blue Badge assessments. Up-to-date Moving and Handling training is essential. An Enhanced DBS check covering both children’s and adults’ barred lists is required for this role.
