*Family Time Worker – Supporting Family Time Service – #5304723

Job Description

An opportunity for a dedicated Family Time Worker to support children and families across County Durham, primarily in the south of the county. You will facilitate supervised family time sessions at a range of venues, ensuring children, young people and families feel welcome and have a safe, positive experience. Duties include observation and detailed recording, supporting social workers with vulnerable children and families, safe conveyance of children to venues, and gathering feedback to help improve service quality. Around 30 hours per week are available, Monday to Friday, with the greatest demand during afternoons; mileage is paid in line with council policy. You will need recent experience working with children and families, a full driving licence, vehicle access and Essential Car User status with appropriate business insurance; a Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
