Family Time Worker – Supporting Family Time Service – #5304721
Job Description
Durham County Council is seeking dedicated Family Time Workers to support children and families across County Durham, primarily in the south of the county. You will facilitate supervised family time sessions at various venues, ensuring children, young people and families feel safe, welcomed and supported throughout contact arrangements. Duties include observing and recording sessions accurately, working in partnership with families and social workers, supervising safe conveyance of children to venues, and supporting risk assessment and service delivery alongside the Team Leader/Manager. Recent experience working with children and families is essential, along with a full driving licence, access to a vehicle and Essential Car User status with appropriate business insurance. A Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential. Approximately 30 hours per week are available, Monday to Friday, with the greatest demand during afternoons.
