Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

Must have experience of managing Leaving Care team

  • Able to lead, participate, facilitate and take part in meetings

  • Extensive knowledge an understanding of child care law and practice especially in key areas such as Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000, Children and Families Act 2014, and other relevant statutory child care guidance and legislation

  • Ability to manage, develop and enhance the performance of teams and individuals and to delegate work to others and respond to poor performances.

  • Ensure the service is focused upon and maintains the young persons needs and best interests at the centre of service and pathway planning with a range of cases from Eligible, Relevant, Former Relevant and Qualifying Young People.

  • Able to maintain oversight of financial resources and costs linked to activity and  provide analysis as part of accountability in the use of resources.

Free on-site parking

Full-time role-37 hours per week -Flexible working in place- balance between working from home/office to meet the needs of the service
