Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and families? Herefordshire Council is seeking skilled and committed Social Workers to join their Safeguarding and Support teams in Hereford.
In this vital role you will work directly with children, young people, and their families to create meaningful, lasting change. You will build trusting relationships, offer early help and support, and where necessary take decisive action to ensure children are safe and thriving. The focus is on working collaboratively with families, keeping the child’s voice at the centre of every decision.

Candidates must be registered with Social Work England and hold a recognised social work qualification (Degree, DipSW, or CQSW).
The package includes a salary of £36,363–£40,777 per annum, a £5,000 market rate supplement, a £10,000 welcome payment, retention payments of £2,000–£4,000, relocation support of up to £10,000, 31 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, protected CPD time and budget, LGPS enrolment, flexible working options, and an Employee Assistance Programme.
