Job Description
Bradford Metropolitan District Council is recruiting experienced Social Workers for its Children’s Complex Health and Disabilities Team (CCHDT), based at Shipley Town Hall, BD18 3EH.
This is a specialist statutory social work team working with children and young people with severe and profound disabilities and complex health needs, alongside their families. The team is well established and covers the full range of statutory duties, including children in need, safeguarding, and children in care.
You will carry out assessments, provide targeted support, and work with families using a restorative and relational-based practice approach — always keeping the child at the heart of every decision. The role demands drive, determination, and a genuine passion for making a difference to some of the most complex cases within children’s services.
Salary: £38,220 – £46,142 per annum plus a £3,000 retention payment. Office attendance is required three days per week. Please note Bradford Metropolitan District Council does not offer sponsorship.
