Job Description
South Tyneside Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Social Worker to join their Connected Carers Team on a locum basis, based at the Town Hall, South Shields (NE33 2RL), starting 20 July 2026.
In this role you will support a duty rota responding to emergency viabilities and Regulation 24 placements, alongside carrying a caseload of viability assessments, full kinship assessments, and ongoing support of Kinship Carers.
