Job Description

An exciting interim opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-profile Transformation programme within Adult Social Care in Slough, Berkshire. Reporting to the Adults Project Manager, this role sits at the heart of service redesign and offers a genuine opportunity to shape the future delivery of Adults front-line services.

You will lead on the redesign of the Adults ‘Front Door’, facilitating workshops, capturing customer journeys, and mapping ‘To Be’ pathways across the full range of ASC services — including Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Reablement, Safeguarding, and 65+ provision. Your ability to engage, challenge, and guide a diverse range of stakeholders and professionals will be central to the success of these projects.

Key responsibilities include: facilitating structured workshops with operational and strategic teams; producing detailed process maps, customer journey documentation, and pathway designs; working collaboratively with service leads across Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Reablement, Safeguarding, and Older People services; and providing high-quality analytical outputs to the Adults Project Manager.

Candidates must have demonstrable, in-depth experience as a Business Analyst specifically within Adult Social Care settings. Experience of leading transformation or service redesign projects within a local authority is highly desirable.

This is an interim position based on-site in Slough (SL1 2EJ), paying between £359.89 and £485.81 per day. The role is available from 25 May 2026.
