Job Description

Manchester City Council is recruiting an Adults Social Worker to join an Integrated Neighbourhood Team based at Moss Side District Office, Manchester (M16 7AD). This is a temporary role running from 10 August to 30 September 2026, paying £30 per hour via the XMS portal.

Working within an integrated team, you will undertake Care Act assessments and reviews, Mental Capacity Assessments (MCAs), and Safeguarding and Finance/Gateway (SFG) work. Applicants must have demonstrable experience in safeguarding, assessment, and Continuing Healthcare (CHC).

Three years of references are required, employment history gaps will be checked, and relevant qualifications will be verified in line with the job description and person specification. Social Work England registration is essential.
