Job Description

Sheffield City Council is seeking two experienced Adults Social Workers for the Communities Future Options service, based at Howden House, Sheffield city centre (S1 2SH).

This is a locum contract paying £30 per hour, starting as soon as possible for an initial six-month period (to February 2027). Two positions are available.

Candidates should bring solid post-qualifying experience in adults’ social work. Familiarity with Liquidlogic case management is desirable. The service title — Communities Future Options — suggests a focus on long-term planning and community-based support for adults, though full duties are detailed in the attached job description.
