Job Description

An excellent opportunity for a Senior Social Worker to join the Chessington and Surbiton Hub Locality Team at the Royal Borough of Kingston, supporting the Team Manager in delivering effective adult social care services. You will provide professional and managerial support to Social Workers and Support Coordinators, oversee casework analysis and risk assessment, ensure high-quality case recording, and support transparent allocation of work across the team. The role involves deputising for the Team Manager, contributing to performance management, staff development, budget oversight, and safeguarding adults practice, working closely with Kingston Hospital, the ICB, and Continuing Healthcare Team. You will need a degree-level Social Work qualification (CSS/CQSW/DipSW or equivalent) and current registration with Social Work England, together with strong knowledge of legislation and procedures underpinning Adult Social Care.
