Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

The following is essential criteria:

– Degree in Social Work

– SWE Registration

– Right to work within the UK

Working within a busy team of assessment team Social Workers.

Duty rota on a weekly basis where they do 1 day main duty, 1 day back up.

3 days in the office, 2 days working from home. Visits are completed every 10 working days and assessments completed within 20 working days.

Caseloads range between 20-25

Assessment work to be completed, identifying risk, concerns, support and intervention for children and their families and signposting to other agencies or further Social Care intervention via Child in Need, Child Protection or Proceedings..

You must have:

• A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with adults.
• Social Work England registration.
• Post qualified experience.
• Enhanced DBS/Update service.
• References required for the last 5 years of employment.
