Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.
The following is essential criteria:
– Degree in Social Work
– SWE Registration
– Right to work within the UK
The Ideal candidate will have previous experience in a social work setting and have experience in completing Care Act Assessments for adults with a range of needs.
You will have knowledge and experience in developing support plans and facilitating care arrangements.
You will have an understanding of the needs of Carer’s and their right to a Carer’s assessment and support.
The ideal candidate will also have an understanding of working in an integrated way to deliver seamless support to service users and will also have knowledge and experience in Safeguarding.
The candidate will be able to review, evaluate and liaise with others to identify the best form of initial contact and involvement.
A contribution to the duty function is also expected of you.
As part of the role you will be expected to:
Demonstrate the ability to work with service users to ensure they can make informed decisions about their needs in accordance with statutory frameworks/local policies
Have the ability to identify and assess need, options and urgency of situation, and to plan and implement action to meet this.
Develop, maintain and review professional relationships with service users to avoid crisis situations, achieve change and improve life opportunities
Ability to assist or advocate for service users to represent their needs, views and circumstances
Prepare reports and documents for decision-making forums, and work with service users to help them understand the procedures, outcomes, and to be involved in decision-making forums
Identify, assess and manage risk to service users whilst balancing their rights and responsibilities
Have the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and systems
To be able to work within the principles and values underpinning social work practice.
Knowledge of the Liquid logic system would be beneficial.

You must have:
- A professional qualification in social work
- Social Work England registration.
- Post qualified experience.
- Enhanced DBS/Update service.
- References required for the last 5 years of employment.
