📍 Trafford-based with travel across Greater Manchester & surrounding areas | 37 hrs pw | Competitive hourly rate

We’re hiring a Family Contact Worker on a long-term temporary contract to supervise safe, positive contact sessions for vulnerable children (0-16) and their families. If you’re caring, organised and love being out and about, this role lets you turn every visit into a milestone moment. 💛

✨ What you’ll do

• Plan & run contact sessions in our Trafford Contact Centre and fun community spots (parks, cinemas, cafés). 🎬🍿

• Keep everyone safe 🛡️—complete risk assessments, manage behaviour and record every session on Liquid Logic.

• Capture key memories 📹—video final adoption contacts and write clear reports that influence life-changing decisions.

• Team up 🤝—share insights with social workers, attend reviews & core groups, and champion each child’s voice.

🧩 What you’ll bring

• 🎓 NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Child Care / Health & Social Care.

• 📅 12+ months experience supporting children, young people or families.

• 🚗 Full UK licence & own car (mileage paid).

• 💪 Resilience, empathy and confidence handling challenging situations—with a smile!

• 🖥️ Solid IT & report-writing skills.
  (Court evidence or trauma-informed practice experience? Big plus!)
