The following is essential criteria:

– Degree in Social Work

– SWE Registration

– Right to work within the UK

We are looking for senior social workers who can work in North Fieldwork services undertaking statutory duties for Children in Need or children on child protection plans.  You must have at least two years experience as a qualified social worker of statutory fieldwork and experience of court work and be able to hold complex casework.  Our average caseloads for social workers are 22 children.  You will be required to travel across the North of the city supporting vulnerable children and families and be able to work.

Working 37 hours per week you will be available between the hours of 8.45-17.15 Monday to Thursday with a finish of 4.45pm on a Friday.  North fieldwork services is based at Sorby House, 42 Spital Hill, The Wicker, Sheffield, S4 7LG.

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with adults.
  • Social Work England registration.
