Job Description

Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking a qualified Senior Practitioner to manage a complex caseload of children and young people, safeguarding and promoting their welfare across the city. You will complete statutory assessments, plan and review for children in need of protection and children in care, work within multi-agency meetings, and present reports to conferences, courts and panels. The role involves close partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies, supporting students and colleagues, and contributing to team goals under the Trust’s One Team ethos. Essential requirements: an approved social work qualification and current registration with Social Work England, plus significant experience working with vulnerable children and families and knowledge of key legislation.
