Adults Senior Practitioner – Adults Safeguarding Team – #OR111108

Job Description

Thurrock Council is seeking an experienced Adults Senior Practitioner to join their Adults Safeguarding Team, based in Grays, Essex (RM17 6SL).

This is a vital frontline role working with adults who have been referred to the team due to safeguarding concerns. You will cover emergency safeguarding duty visits, undertake initial information gathering and signposting upon receipt of concerns, complete Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, and participate in safeguarding strategy meetings.

Candidates must hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England, with a minimum of three years’ post-qualifying experience in adults’ social care. Experience in safeguarding adults is essential for this role.
