Job Description

A busy statutory social work team in South Leeds is seeking an experienced Adults Advanced Practitioner to join their Learning Disabilities service, based at Tribeca House, Roundhay Road.

Working under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act, you will complete assessments and reviews, commission services, investigate safeguarding concerns, and manage risk for adults with learning disabilities across South Leeds. The team works with a diverse range of adults of all ages and communities, including those with complex health needs and Continuing Healthcare funding, and also supports carers. Experience of working with cases under the oversight of the Court of Protection is particularly welcome.

You will be motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently within a supportive service where guidance is always accessible. The role involves visiting people in their homes and community locations across a large area of Leeds, so the ability to travel — by own vehicle or public transport — is essential.

The team operates hybrid working, with office-based days at Tribeca House on Thursdays and Fridays as standard.

Rate: £22.20 per hour. Start date: 27 July 2026. End date: 09 August 2026.
