Job Description
Lancashire County Council is seeking a Brokerage Officer for its Supported Accommodation and Independent Living (SAIL) service, based within the Children and Families Commissioning Service at County Hall, Preston (PR1 8RE).
This is an initial 3-month temporary assignment (starting 27 July 2026, with potential for extension) paying £18.81 per hour. The role is predominantly office-based, with 2 days per week required at County Hall.
The post sits within a commissioning and brokerage function supporting children and young people in supported and independent living arrangements. Essential attributes include strong communication skills, IT proficiency, punctuality, reliability, and the ability to use initiative.
