Job Description

Liverpool City Council is seeking an Adults Registered Manager for Millvina House, a dementia EMI nursing home based in Anfield, Liverpool (L5 1UW). This is a temporary locum role paying £28.14–£37.64 per hour via Prism, starting 27 July 2026.

The post holder will act as Registered Manager of this integrated Health and Social Care EMI Nursing Home, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with dementia and related conditions.

Key responsibilities include leading and developing staff teams, overseeing residential and nursing care services, and ensuring full compliance with CQC standards, National Minimum Care Standards, and Quality Assessment Framework (QAF) requirements. You will coordinate integrated service delivery, support discharge-to-assess pathways, and work in partnership with GPs, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders to promote positive outcomes for residents.

The role also encompasses staff performance management, workforce development through coaching and mentoring, and ensuring services meet agreed performance targets and objectives.

An Enhanced DBS check (Adult Workforce and Adult Barred List) is required. The post holder will work on a rota basis including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with appropriate allowances paid.
