Job Description

A Child and Family Worker is required at the Sandhill Centre, Sunderland (SR3 4EN), working within the Children with Disabilities (CWD) team. This is a temporary role paying £20.33 per hour, starting 6 July 2026.

You will work directly with children and young people in social care or education environments, supporting disabled children and their families. Experience working with disabled children is highly desirable for this post.

This is an unqualified social care role — a social work qualification is not required. If you have hands-on experience supporting children with disabilities and a commitment to improving outcomes for young people, we would like to hear from you.
