Job Description

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a Qualified Social Worker or Learning Disabilities Nurse for a secondment-cover post within a high-performing, supportive Learning Disabilities team based in the beautiful market town of Louth, covering both rural and urban areas across Lincolnshire.

You will work in a strengths-based way to achieve the best outcomes for adults with learning disabilities, drawing on technology-enabled care (TEC), non-statutory services, and innovative community resources to support independent living. The role involves complex casework, robust assessment recording, and strong legal literacy in adult social care.

Requirements:
– Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered) or qualified Learning Disabilities Nurse
– Minimum 2 years post-qualifying experience
– Experience of complex casework in a Learning Disabilities or comparable adults setting
– Good legal literacy in social care
– High-quality recording and assessment skills

Rate: £210.22 – £286.33 per day. Start date: 20 July 2026, based at Gresley Road, Louth, LN11 8FG.
