Job Description
Semester is recruiting an Advanced Practitioner for Barnsley Council’s Children in Care service. This is a full-time locum post based at Westgate Plaza One, Barnsley (S70 2DR), running from 20 July to 20 October 2026, paying £37 per hour.
The role requires a minimum of 3 days on-site per week. Candidates must hold a recognised social work qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and bring demonstrable prior experience at Advanced Practitioner level within a Children in Care or Looked After Children setting.
