Job Description

An experienced Adults Social Worker is required on a full-time basis for Liverpool City Council’s West Derby team, sitting within the Adult Social Care and Health directorate’s Assessment and Care Delivery service area.

This is a North Locality post based at Unicorn Road, Liverpool (L11 4TE), available from 20 July 2026 on a contract basis via Prism, paying £35.00–£46.88 per hour.

Key responsibilities include completing care needs assessments, reviews, Mental Capacity Act (MCA) assessments, and Section 42 safeguarding enquiries. The postholder will also participate in the duty rota.

Applicants must be qualified social workers registered with Social Work England and have demonstrable experience in adult social care assessment and care delivery.
