Job Description
Haringey Council is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of its Local Council Tax Support (LCTS) scheme changes for 2027/28. This is a high-profile policy project with a statutory deadline of March 2027, requiring complex programme planning, public consultation, system changes, and intensive stakeholder engagement.
You will coordinate all programme stages — from early modelling and consultation design through Equality Impact Assessment, Cabinet decision-making, legal sign-off, and implementation into the annual billing process. Workstreams include coordination with Policy in Practice, NEC, Digital/ICT, Legal, Democratic Services, and Finance, alongside a 12-week public consultation and engagement with the GLA, elected Members, and community groups.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering policy, service-change, or consultation-heavy projects in a public-sector context, with strong command of project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement at senior level. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work at pace in a politically sensitive environment.
Hybrid working is available. The role is based at Station Road, N22 7TY, and is offered at £397.33–£546.05 per day via Prism, starting 18 May 2026. Please submit your CV and a short statement outlining your relevant experience in project delivery, public consultation, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
