Job Description

Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) is seeking a Support Worker for their Care and Support service, based in Linby, Nottingham (NG15 8AE). This is a community and project-based role paying £12.71–£16.51 per hour, available from 15 May 2026.

You will support individuals to live as independently as possible, respecting their dignity, rights, and personal choices. Key responsibilities include implementing individual care and support plans with risk assessments, assisting with personal care, medication administration, domestic tasks, and supporting access to work, education, leisure, and community activities. The role also involves key holding, coordinating shift staff, handling finances, and maintaining accurate records using NCHA’s IT and paper systems.

You will play an active role in safeguarding adults and children in line with NCHA’s policies, and respond appropriately to health and safety issues. The role operates on a rota and shift basis, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and may include sleeping-in duties. An Enhanced DBS with barred list check is required.
