Job Description

Birmingham’s Children’s Trust are looking for experienced senior practitioners with over 4 yrs experience an extensive knowledge in a Pre Birth Arena. Have undertaken Pre birth, Parent Assess, CUBUS or PAMs This is a FAST PACED role and Candidates must have a strong knowledge and experience of completing pre birth assessments, managing risk for pre birth and post birth babies, along with assessing parents who have children removed from their care. We work with parents who meet a specific criteria and work to support them as early as we know they are pregnant . And therefore we want all of our families to have the same experience, working towards breaking the cycle of children who come into care. Candidates will expect to complete extensive pre birth assessments, safely planning that will form decision making and outcomes for vulnerable babies . Social workers will work cases in CIN, CP. And through to ICO.. Expertise of complex case discussions, Legal planning and PRE Proceedings is required. Candidates must have knowledge in the following areas and implement multi agency knowledge to manage substance misuse, Mental health, homelessness and domestic abuse. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate Significant knowledge at interview. ( Candidates need only apply who can meet the needs of the service) and MUST BE Qualified driver and have access to a CAR.
