Job Description

Role Overview:
Responsible for day-to-day supervision of Eden Lodge and Wickett Hern Rd, ensuring high-quality short-stay services in line with CQC and CDC standards. Acts as Service lead in the absence of the Registered Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure care reflects quality principles: cleanliness, safety, dignity, choice, and participation.

  • Implement person-centred, outcome-based support plans.

  • Address safeguarding concerns per South Yorkshire procedures.

  • Lead handovers, meetings, staff supervision, training, and mentoring.

  • Support individuals with daily living needs, activities, and independence.

Person Specification:

  • Education: Level 3 Health & Social Care (Level 4 desirable).

  • Experience: Health & Social Care, learning disabilities/ADHD, care planning, QA systems, multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Knowledge: Current legislation, community-led support, IT systems (Word, Excel, email, service user records).

The shift allowance is 8.5%.

The rota is every other weekend working, the shifts within the week are allocated on a monthly basis to support the number of individuals using the service.

There will be a 4 week rota produced so all staff are aware of their shifts.

The 37hrs are managed over the weeks with every other weekend working as a guide.
