Job Description
My Client offers one to one support and group activities for refugee and asylum seekers families who live in the local area. This role will be based at their offices in Central Liverpool.
This is a part time position that will be office based from 9.30am – 4.30pm, the working days are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday every week and these days are set.
£20-22 an hour pay rate
We are looking for someone who can start ASAP, so a DBS subscribed to the update service is a great benefit. The contract for the role is until the end of October at the moment, but there is a high chance that this could be extended due to increased demands.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
For service delivery:
· Ensure that Anti-Racism and the removal of barriers to power for people with lived experience are deeply embedded across all activities.
· To carry out a needs assessment and prepare Action Plans with clients accessing Next Steps.
· To work in partnership with external stakeholders to ensure that clients’ needs are met, and clients are integrated into other services.
· To maintain and develop good working relationships with external organisations and partners, to ensure that opportunities for clients to access other services is maximised.
· To initiate, develop, co-ordinate, plan and deliver group sessions for Next Steps clients
· To take an active role in assessing and mitigating risk and developing procedures appropriate for the smooth running of group sessions and other activities.
· To work closely and co-operatively with the other post holder, admin and the Programme Manager in reviewing, planning and developing the service.
· To carry out monitoring and evaluation processes as appropriate.
