👶 Social Worker – Children in Care (CiC Team 1)

💼 3-Month Interim Contract | Hybrid Working
Semester Recruitment is working with Bradford Children and Families Trust, who are seeking an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join their Children in Care (CiC) Team 1 on an interim basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support looked-after children across Bradford, contributing to high-quality care planning, stability, and positive long-term outcomes.
🔍 Role Responsibilities:

Hold a caseload of Looked After Children and manage all associated statutory responsibilities

Undertake regular statutory visits, complete care plans, and attend LAC reviews
-
Work closely with foster carers, residential providers, families, IROs, and other professionals
-
Support placement stability, education and health planning, and permanency outcomes
-
Attend court and contribute to permanency planning where required
✅ Requirements:
-
Qualified Social Worker with experience in Looked After Children or Children in Care teams
-
Strong assessment, planning, and case recording skills
-
Confident in multi-agency working and promoting positive outcomes for children
-
Able to work in-office as needed – hybrid working model in place
📅 Contract:
3-month interim post | Hybrid working with office-based attendance for team days or key tasks
