Job Description

Working within relevant legislation, government guidance and the council’s practice standards we are looking for social workers who can carry out assessments and provide social work interventions using a child centred approach.   Someone who can:

• Build relationships with children, young people, families, partner agencies – working to achieve positive outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with appropriate agencies and professionals as part of a multi‑disciplinary service/team.

• Deliver high‑quality assessments and person‑centred plans.

• Work confidently with complex needs and safeguarding situations.

• Manage allocated caseload effectively.
