Job Description

Bolton Council is seeking a Principal Development Officer for its Planning Control service, based at Bolton Town Hall, BL1 1RU. This is a temporary contract running from 27 July 2026 to 2 November 2026, paying £22.13 per hour via the XMS portal.

The role sits within Planning Control at Grade 9 level. Candidates will require relevant qualifications as specified in the Job Description and Person Specification (available on request). A two-year employment history reference check will be conducted and any gaps in employment history will be verified.
