Job Description

Semester Recruitment is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Wigan Council (GM Collaboration), based at Cross Street, Hindley, Wigan (WN2 3AX). This is a locum post running from 27 July to 30 September 2026, paying £30–£35 per hour.

Working within Early Intervention Integrated Services — encompassing Reablement, Equipment and Adaptations, and Assistive Technology — you will assess and support service users experiencing difficulties with activities of daily living and reduced independence. The role involves assessment and provision of equipment and adaptations for both adults and children (paediatrics).

Full-time hours are preferred, though part-time will be considered. If you are an experienced OT with a strong background in community assessments and equipment/adaptations, we would like to hear from you. Contact us today to discuss this opportunity.
