Job Description

Darlington Borough Council is seeking a Lifeline Response Officer based at the Town Hall, DL1 5QT, paying £17.82 per hour. Start date 8 June 2026, ongoing. Candidates must be flexible and available to work across all of the following shift patterns: Monday to Sunday 07:30–15:45 or 15:30–21:30 or 21:15–07:45, and Monday to Friday 08:30–17:00. Rotas are prepared monthly with shifts confirmed at least one month in advance. The role requires a full UK driving licence (manual vehicles) as the service uses white fleet. An enhanced DBS is required. Any relevant training will be considered.
