Job Description

This is an ongoing temporary position but going permanent after 12 weeks.

All applicants must be reliable and hardworking, and have experience in soft landscaping (seeding, turfing, soil preparation, tree planting, shrub planting, mulching) and some grounds maintenance works

Landscaping Operative

  • Must have Experience – some landscaping experience would be advantageous

  • Experience in the following would also be great – ride on mower, pedestrian mower, strimmer’s, hedge cutters, Spraying

  • CSCS essential

  • Must have a driving licence

  • PA1 & PA6 advantageous but not essential

  • Chainsaw and chipper certs advantageous but not essential

  • experience in soft landscaping (seeding, turfing, soil preparation, tree planting, shrub planting, mulching) and some grounds maintenance works

  • ROLO Card

  • 360 excavator or dumper advantageous but not essential

  • PA1 / PA6 spray certification advantageous but not essential

  • A full UK driving licence is desirable.

  • Trailer Licence would be advantageous.

You will need to get to the Wakefield Depot by 7am each morning, however you will then have a Company Van to get to the job.

Hours are 7am-3 or 4 depending on the job, Monday to Friday – weekend or overtime work is available at x1.5 hourly rate

£13-15 an hour depending on experience
