Job Description

Semester Recruitment is seeking two Family Support Workers to join a Children in Care team based in Barnsley (S70 2DR), working from Westgate Plaza One.

This is a temporary role running from 7 August to 30 October 2026, paying £18.35 per hour.

You will carry out direct work with children and young people in care, support family time, assist with admin tasks, help families obtain ID documents such as passports, support Social Workers during visits, and hold family network meetings.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
