Are you an experienced social worker with a knack for handling complex cases and navigating the twists and turns of hospital discharge planning? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same? If so, we need YOU in our Hospital Social Work Team!
We are on the hunt for an experienced Level 2 Social Worker who can juggle high-level casework.
You will be:

What we need from you:
A qualified social worker with relevant experience in hospital social work or a similar fast-paced setting.
A deep understanding of safeguarding, mental capacity, and Care Act compliance.
The ability to balance your workload with hands-on casework.
Strong skills in multi-agency working—we liaise across multiple hospitals, councils, and health trusts.
About this post:
The post is for an experienced Level 2 Social Worker.
It is a ward based post at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston – the ward is 7A.
The ward is being set up as a frailty ward to support people over the winter period. It is short stay, up to 72 hours. People are admitted from both the front door and the community.
The social worker will work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team, working with Consultants, therapists, pharmacy, nurses, and other support services.
The role is ward aligned.
It is Monday to Friday – 37 hours per week (hours are 08:45 – 17:15 Monday to Thursday then 08:45 – 16:45 on Friday) working on site every day. No weekend working.

You must have:

A professional qualification in social work

Social Work England registration.

Post qualified experience.

Enhanced DBS/Update service.

References required for the last 5 years of employment.
