We are looking for an agency Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Hub. The team is a centralised team which covers the borough of Cheshire East. Due to this, there is the option for the worker to use Macclesfield Town Hall or Delamere House Crewe as their office base.

As a specialist service, the team hold cases across the whole spectrum of need from children subject to child in need plans, child protection plans, care proceedings and cared for children. The candidate will need to have experience working with children with disabilities and experience of statutory safeguarding.

Cheshire East have adopted a restorative practice model which is built on relationship building, working with families in family led planning.

The role is a full-time role of 37 hours a week. Cheshire East offers a hybrid working approach with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week. As stated previously, there is flexibility in the office location chosen.

You must have:

• A professional qualification in social work

• Social Work England registration.

• Post qualified experience.

• Enhanced DBS/Update service.

• References required for the last 5 years of employment.
