Job Description

Semester Recruitment is seeking a qualified Social Worker for a MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) role with Cardiff Council, based at Cardiff Bay Police Station, Cardiff (CF10 4UW).

This is a fast-paced, office-based position within a co-located multi-agency unit. You will carry no caseload but will be responsible for the timely risk assessment of contacts and referrals into the MASH, early identification of those at risk, and participation in multi-agency strategy discussions to inform safeguarding decisions and actions.

The team works alongside partner agencies as part of Cardiff’s safeguarding agenda, with a constantly changing workload that demands strong decision-making under pressure.

Rate: £29.34 – £38.43 per hour (via Prism). Start date: 15 September 2026.
