Job Description

Cheshire East Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Childrens Social Worker to join their Integrated Front Door (IFD) team based at Delamere House, Crewe (CW1 2JZ).

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding children and supporting families, ensuring the right services respond at the right time.

You will be responsible for receiving, screening, and triaging referrals relating to children and families, assessing risk and need, and determining appropriate next steps in line with statutory guidance and local procedures.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days per week office-based and 2 days remote working.

Rate: £39.00 per hour. Start date: 20 July 2026. This is an ongoing temporary engagement via the Comensura framework.
