Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

An experienced social worker is required in North Help and Protection team 2. This is a busy long term area team which supports children under child in need, child protection, within care proceedings up until plans of permanence are agreed. 

Experience in working within care proceedings, writing court reports and assessment writing skills are required

North Help and protection is based in Adwick leisure centre with access to free parking.

This will be hybrid working with the option to work at home Monday/Tuesday and mandatory office days being Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

There are good training opportunities including mandatory training such as Graded Care profile and Restorative practice. There is robust supervision policy in place both personal and case supervision (monthly) with access to informal team manager and Advanced practitioner support daily
