Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

The kinship care team are recruiting an assessing social worker to focus upon completing SGO Assessments.

The SGO assessments are in relation to kinship foster carers and the children in their care where the care plan is discharge of care order.

The Social Worker will have experience of kinship care arrangements which includes kinship fostering, discharge of care orders and SGOs.

The post is full time 37 hours.

This is an additional post and is not a sickness cover post.

The post includes hybrid working.

The Office base is Stopford House in the centre of Stockport.

The anticipated post duration is 3 months. This may be extended.
