Job Description
Semester Recruitment is seeking an experienced Childrens Social Worker for Wrexham County Borough Council, based at 31 Chester Street, Wrexham (LL13 8BG). This is a locum role paying £28.70–£38.43 per hour via the Prism portal, starting 26 June 2026.
You will be based within the Family Support Team, holding a mixed caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, and PLO cases, with the likelihood of some court work. You will be responsible for undertaking all statutory duties in relation to these case types.
Applicants must hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Care Wales. Experience across CIN, CP, and care proceedings is essential. Please get in touch to discuss this opportunity further.
