Job Description

Rochdale Borough Council is seeking an experienced Childrens Social Worker to join the Cared for Children Team on a temporary basis, based at Smith Street, Floor 4, Rochdale (OL16 1XU).

This is an immediate-start assignment running from 22 June to 26 September 2026, paying £35 per hour. The role sits within the GM Collaboration framework and is sourced via XMS.

Candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (Children and Adults barred list check) and be available to start immediately. Prior to submission, suppliers must complete the DfE Recommendation Compliance Questions and attach the completed file to the candidate record — applications that do not pass these questions will not progress.
