Job Description

Semester Recruitment is seeking an experienced Childrens Advanced Practitioner for Lincolnshire County Council, based at North Hykeham Technology Park, North Kesteven (LN6 3QU). This is a complex case-holding role within Children’s Services, running from 24 August 2026 at a rate of £29.51–£40.00 per hour.

The role involves managing a caseload of complex cases spanning Court proceedings, Children in Care (CIC), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Need (CIN), in line with the Lincolnshire Children’s Services Advanced Practitioner job description. Key responsibilities include attending meetings and court hearings, and completing Child and Family Assessments.

Applicants must hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Significant post-qualifying experience in children’s services, including Court work and complex safeguarding, is essential.
