Job Description

Advanced Practitioner (Social Care) – Permanence Team

It is essential that all candidates have 3 years permanent social work statutory experience (please indicate against the role on the submitted cv) and are car drivers and have access to a vehicle.
Candidates cannot apply if are leaving a permanent social work role in the North West region (there must be a 3 month gap)

We have opportunities for experienced (plus 3yrs pq) children’s social workers across our services in our Permanence Teams

The candidate will be experienced in Children in Care and Children Looked After  
Excellent engagement and direct working skills with children and young people is essential as well
Care and placement planning and minimising risk with a methodical organised approach, ensuring long term improved outcomes

Good understanding of Corporate Parenting and Children Looked After legislation and processes
Ensuring stable placements appropriate for individual needs

3 days on site in Liverpool per week, 2 days homeworking
